SimplyBiz was created in 2001 to provide compliance and business support to directly regulated independent financial advisers. It now supports over 5000 advisers throughout the UK and continues to grow year on year.

Core to the SimplyBiz proposition are the compliance services it provides, along with acting as a reliable source of communications from the regulator and providers.  Simplybiz offers exclusive discounts and deals on a range of software and practical solutions and supporting advisers in every area of their business.

 

BACKGROUND

SICL was selected ahead of several companies in the tender to provide IT infrastructure and Helpdesk support to Simplybiz, which employs 150 people at its offices in Huddersfield and Glasgow.

The company delivers specialised compliance and related services to independent financial advisers via its web portal and so its back-office IT systems are critical to maintenance of quality service.

APPROACH

SICL and Simplybiz entered into a consultative process to establish the exact requirements of support. Once established, SICL spent time onsite at the Simplybiz offices to document, check and record the IT systems, software and business processes pre-contract. The contract commencement was consequently very smooth providing Simplybiz with effective support from day one.

RESULTS

Thanks to the consultative approach and the time spent documenting their systems most prob-lems are resolved during the first call to SICL.
