Ben Collins has competed in the British Formula Three Championships, ASCAR, Indy, British Touring Cars Championships and Le Mans but he is best, and perhaps most controversially, known for his eight years as the Stig in BBC Top Gear, which came to an end in 2010.
Ben is a regular writer for Autosport Magazine and has worked as a precision driver on Hollywood films including 'Casino Royale' and ‘Quantum of Solace’ as a driving stunt-double for Daniel Craig and 'National Treasure: Book of Secrets' doubling for Nicolas Cage. In addition to Film, TV and PR engagements Ben is still very active in competitive motorsports and holds the world record for the maximum distance of driving a car on two wheels, a manoeuvre called ‘skiing’.
SICL welcomes Ben Collins to The Event '11.
