SICL was pleased to host ‘The Event ‘09’ on Tuesday 9th June 2009 at Elvington Circuit, York. For the fourth year running The Event was hugely successful attracting 95% attendance and tremendous positive feedback with contracts and orders signed on the day and significant interest in some of the new technologies on show. We were extremely lucky with the weather, which stayed fine despite all professional forecasts predicting rain throughout the day.
The Aerial Atoms were, as usual, a big hit and the Crossbow was an unusual addition but the Lamborghini was probably the star of the show with everyone enjoying their time driving the Gallardo. As usual the competition elements of the day were completed with friendly rivalry.
